People tend to measure the passing of time as before and after major events. Our family is no different. For us, it’s before and after May 2016. Before, Keith and I were both employed full-time and in fairly good health. After I was unemployed and Keith was facing peritoneal dialysis.

The second half of 2016 meant physical, financial and emotional devastation. No part of our lives or the lives of our two daughters was spared. Some days were bad, and some days it seemed like hell on Earth. If you’d like to know the details, you can visit this page.

2017 seemed to dawn a little brighter, but not for long. We aren’t losing hope. We aren’t giving in. And we certainly not giving up. We’ve got each other, we’ve got family, and we’ve got medical professionals in our corner.
